A digital magazine for long-form journalism, set like a modern broadsheet. Thirty-six original articles across five sections and twelve monthly issues carry their asides where print put them, in the margin beside the sentence they annotate. The paywall is a transparent meter: three free articles a month, counted in two functional cookies with no identifiers, with the article shell cached and the metered body streamed in. Readers choose text size, a Paper, Sepia or Night theme and line length, keep a reading list, turn a highlighted sentence into a shareable quote card and listen along with a narration player. Every illustration is an engraving ray-traced and hatched by scripts that ship with the code.
